A meat platter made by the Bristol pottery c1830. The length is 12.85 inches (32.2 cm). Marked on the back with an impressed mark, arranged in a horseshoe, Pountney & Allies plus a cross. There is also a transfer print for "Chepstow Castle" and an impressed number 12. See Coysh and Henrywood "Blue and White Printed Pottery", volume 1, page 80, for a similar dish. |

A plate made by the Bristol pottery c1830. This is the standard dinner plate in the Bristol Views series. The diameter is 9.9 inches (25.1 cm). Decorated with an under glaze blue transfer print of St Vincent's Rocks. This design is part of the Bristol Views series. Marked on the back with a transfer print for "St Vincent's Rocks". See Coysh and Henrywood "Blue and White Printed Pottery", volume 1, page 319. This was reproduced in the 1950s as "Avon Gorge". |

A ewer made by the Bristol pottery c1835. The height is 9.5 inches (24.5 cm). It is printed with the scene known as "Bristol", plus a 5 in blue underneath. See Coysh and Henrywood "Blue and White Printed Pottery", volume 1, pages 56-7, for other examples of "Bristol". The print also occurs on a meat plate, drainer, well and tree dish, washbowl (goes with the ewer), foor tub and toilet box. |

A Bristol pottery jug c1830. Height is 9.9 inches (25.1 cm). Decorated at the top, inside and outside, with flowers, and on the body with a rural scene featuring a lady and a sheep. All decoration is in under-glaze pink transfers. Marked underneath with an impressed mark, which is "Pountney and Allies". |

A Bristol plate c1830 printed with the Sicilian Pattern and on the reverse the pattern name and the mark for Pountney and Allies. The diameter is 8.1 inches (20.5 cm). See Coysh and Henrywood, volume 1, page 338, for the pattern, however the book does not mention that the pattern was produced by Pountneys. |

A pair of printed knife rests c1830. The length of each is 3.9 inches (9.8 cm). On the reverse of both is an impressed mark for Pountney & Allies. |

This plate was made by Pountney's and has a mark for c1922-48, and is a reproduction from the "Thames Views" series, originally made c1830. This was probably made c1935. The diameter is 5.6 inches (14.2 cm). |

Reproductions from the Thames Views series, made by Pountney's c1935. The diameter of the saucer is 3.1 inches (8 cm). Decorated with an under glaze blue transfer print. The saucer has the Thames at Sonning Bridge, the cup the Thames at Wargrave and Henley Bridge. Marked, on underneath, with a transfer print giving the name of the design and the factory mark. The saucer appears to have an impressed date mark of 35/11 (November 1935). |
