Cup and saucer from the Burke service. This service was made for Jane Burke, the wife of the Bristol MP Edmund Burke, to celebrate his victory in the election on 3rd November 1774. This election was unusual it that it was contested. The design includes the figures of Liberty and Plenty, the Burke arms and a latin inscription recording the gift. |

A cup and saucer from the Ludlow service, c1776. The diameter of the saucer is 5.5 inches (14 cm). Decorated with rococo armorial, color flower sparays and gilding. Both pieces are unmarked. A bowl from the Gainsborough service, c1775-80. The diameter is 6 inches (15.2 cm). It is marked with a crossed swords in blue, plus 1 and a dot in gold. The connection with Thomas Gainsborough is uncertain, and the service is not unique. More. |

A saucer from the Cowles service, made in 1776. The diameter is 4.9 inches (12.5 cm). It is unmarked. William Cowles lived at 33 Castle Green, which was close to the factory. |

A cup and saucer c1775-80. The diameter of the saucer is 5.1 inches (13.1 cm). Decorated in the style of the Nelson service, although the shape is different. The saucer is marked X and 3, the cup is marked B. They were exhibited at the Bristol Porcelain Bicentenary Exhibition, with a similar teapot, as 240b, in 1970. More. |

A Bristol sucrier from the Fry service, c1775-80. The height is 5 (12.7 cm) inches. It is of a gently swelling double ogee shape, the domed cover with a pointed bud knop, painted in blue with delicate mixed floral sprays, the rim with gilt dentil border, and the knop picked out in gold. It is marked with an X, in blue, and a 2 and a dot in gold. The mark indicates that William Stephens painted it. This item was in the Trapnell collection (number 266), and with similar pieces was exhibited in the Bristol bicentenary (1970, number 100). More. |

A Bristol hot milk jug and cover from the Mark Harford service, c1775. The height is 5.4 inches (13.7 cm). It has a flat cover applied with a rose knop, with crossed loop handles, painted in puce monochrome on three sides with Italianate landscape vignettes within roundels, a border of puce and gilt scrolls with green leafy sprigs at the rims, and further scattered sprigs around. It was formerly in the Peter Stephens collection (Albert Amor 1978, number 37) and was exhibited in the Bristol bicentenary of 1970 as 96f. |

A Bristol cup and saucer from the Butts service, c1775-78. The diameter of the saucer is 5.1 inches (13 cm) and of the cup is 2.9 inches (7.4 cm). Painted with pink ribbon tied swags of gilt barley ears and gilt dentil rims. The saucer is marked X16 and the cup X. |

A teacup and saucer from the Robert Smythe service c1775-6. The daimeter of the saucer is 12.7 cm. There X marks is blue. Formerly in the F S Mackenna collection (part 3, 1975, page 70, number 28). The service was made for Sir Robert Smyth, Bart, on the occasion of his amrraige to Miss Blake, on September 20th 1776. It was sold in 1871 of the death of Mr White, a great-grandson, to whom it had descended. |

Richard Champion was in partnership, of a merchantile nature, with Edward Brice for 1767-69. It was formerly in the Trapnell collection (number 242) and the F S Mackenna collection (part 3, 1975, page 146, number 101). |

A saucer dish from the Cowles service c1775. It is marked X4 in gold. Its diameter is 20.3 cm. It was made for an undentified member of the Colston family and the family had some pieces up to the end of the 19th century. A teacup and saucer from this service is in the Victoria and Albert museum. |

A Bristol teabowl and saucer from the "TMH" service c1775. The diameter of the saucer is 12.6 cm. The design includes the initials TMH. It is not known to whom these initials refer. There are also two pieces from this service in Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. |
